A few more pics from our river, down by the main street bridge. What you CAN'T see is the walkway that normally goes under the bridge! You can see a line or two where it SHOULD be!

thanks for posting these pics. I am now in Iowa living and my mom tries to explain how high the river is, but it does not seem real or make much sense until I can see a picture. Hopefully your house and neighborhood will remain dry.
Are you getting a lot of rain or is this snow-melt, or both?
It looks like that here, too, unfortunately. Our house is safe, though, but others in town are not.
Although it did rain Sunday, this is almost all from snow melt. And there is still quite a bit of snow left up in the mountains, too!
